Stands for “The Few, the Proud and the Emotional”. It come from the song Fairly local ( Blurryface-2015 ) Few years later, in the album Trench, is given a new meaning of “Failed Perimeter escape” to tie into the Dema storyline created by the band. Tyler has given the meaning that FPE has for him before Trench era.
The Few : ” We are such a relatively small group of people, and whether we grow, shrink or stay the same, i love that about us. a good friend and respected journalist said to me, “it’s the only non-exclusive clique I’ve ever seen.” “
The Prøud : ” When you observe any of these individuals in their individual lives, this word may not fit, but when you witness these individuals gather together in to one room they become one thinking organism, an organism that is proud of at least one thing, it is alive.”
The Emøtiønal : ” This is who we are. To suppress or ignore this would be one step closer to not existing. Music takes what little emotion we may have and cradles it, protects it, and nourishes it. ::emøtiønal:: we are that. And that is good. |-/
Trench, give a new all signification at FPE, Failed Perimeter Escape.
Those who see corruption inside the lies of Dema feel a responsability to get out, and attempted escape should be honored. Many are punished with the Failed Perimeter Escape badge, but wear it proudly. It is their symbol of the banditø underground. -The Few, The Proud and The Emøtiønal- . We shall call our label of delinquency by a new name. This is who we are, and let us never be ashamed by the penalty placed upon us by false authorities.
